These are five of my favorite shots from the Ellicott City Cosplay Photoshoot, 2013.
Clalaclan Philias is princess and priestess of Philias' Tower of the Sun.
The main heroine of Guilty Crown, is the stoic 17-year old vocalist of the group Egoist. She is also a member of the "Funeral Parlor" resistance group and her Void is a sword. She becomes Shu's partner and as the series progresses, begins to show different types of emotions, eventually falling in love with him. In episode 12, she was used as a sacrifice for the rebirth of Mana but was then saved by Shu. Afterwards, however, she starts expressing more erratic behavior, cumulating with her killing two other students and stabbing Arisa through the hand. She is later captured by the resurrected Gai and Da'ath as she tries to protect Shu. Inori's Void is a heavy sword that resembles a bisento, which can be combined with other Voids for different effects. When extracted by Yuu, it takes a more wing-like shape. In Episode 18, she also demonstrates the ability to turn into a "monster" mode, where a pair of blades extend from her arms and she gains increased strength and speed. In episode 21 Inori is consumed and reborn as Mana.
A student who also happens to work at a shrine as a miko, or shinto priestess. Kureha is skilled in the art of archery, or kyūdō. She was transported to End Earth with Souma after they helped Mao defeat a monster. Upon their arrival, she was attacked by monsters and presumably died. Fortunately, she was revealed to be unscathed after Souma pulled out a sword from her body, the Spirit Sword Snow Moon Flower. After Kiriya and Souma's fight, she joins Kiriya and the other Luminous Knights. Kiriya can also draw a sword from her, the Spirit Sword Blazing Sunlight.
Twilight Princess begins with a youth named Link who is working as a ranch hand in Ordon Village. One day, the village is attacked by Bublins, who carry off the village’s children with Link in pursuit before he encounters a wall of Twilight. A Shadow Beast pulls him beyond the wall into the Realm of Twilight, where he is transformed into a wolf and imprisoned. Link is soon freed by an imp-like Twilight being named Midna, who guides him to Princess Zelda.
Meruru is the princess of Arls, a little kingdom situated in the far north of the Arland republic. After her father and Gio, the leader of Arland, discussed the merging of the two lands, she met Totori, the now-graduated alchemist. Dazzled by the power of alchemy, and with a desire to help her country prosper, she forced herself on Totori as her first student. Her father, Dessier, initially disapproves of this decision, but agrees following a suggestion from Rufus. He gives his daughter a directive to use her alchemy to improve the kingdom, and reach goals within specific time periods in order to be allowed to continue her alchemy work. Rorona also joins the two but has been turned young by her master Astrid after drinking an experimental potion of youth.
